Building Blockssm is a proven qualitative research tool that gathers consumer input at the earliest stages of a new product’s development.
How does it work?
Each consumer is asked to build the ideal product to fit a brief description of the core concept. They do this by visiting a series of task stations, each of which covers one aspect of the new product. A self-administered questionnaire is filled out and this information is supplemented by informal probing by a client staff member.
By addressing multiple issues simultaneously, Building Blockssm is more likely to uncover key relationships between variables that can determine marketplace success or failure. The entire client team participates in the informal interviewing to maximize understanding of consumer choices.
